Kym and Steve chose Dayboro, Queensland for their wedding for the sweeping countryside views and romantic vineyard at the historic estate. Everything fell into place beautifully, from the weather to their secret vows. They were even lucky enough to have lightning display as a backdrop for their evening reception.

Jessica and David’s intimate wedding brought together four generations to celebrate the love between this sweet couple. The vintage styling of their special day is super hip; don’t you just love Jessica’s cocktail-length gown. I could go on and on about this amazing wedding, but I particularly love the dreamy flowers and that cake topper is simply darling.

Talented ceramicist, graphic designer and curator of online indie art gallery Udessi, Kim simply glowed at her wedding to Greg in Brisbane. The theme for the day was Australian-Dutch vintage to incorporate both of their countries as a symbol of two heritages uniting as one. Kim and Greg were lucky to have most of their close family and friends visit for the wedding from the Netherlands, USA, Canada, UK, Chile, Darwin and Perth. Oh, and Kim also did an amazing job designing the Real Wedding Ideas Australia website – we think she’s pretty clever!

Photography: John Bowden Photography. John was so great throughout the day. He guided us through everything, took beautiful photos for us to remember the day by, and was so cool and calm, which really helped us to relax and just enjoy the day!

Jordana and Matthew chose Cotton Tree in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast for their breathtaking wedding. They wanted a beachy, intimate atmosphere in a place where many special memories had already been made. I adore the champagne, pink and white colour palette that they chose for their special day.

Caroline and Glen wanted to put the focus on the gorgeous environment of Bangalow, NSW for their special day. I especially love the attention to colour, with each bridesmaid glowing in their own perfect shade of pink, the old-world tones of the bouquet and the bride’s green sash which complemented her colouring beautifully and tied in their stunning surroundings.
